i love DC!!

i live in southwest DC. now, who on earth would think that a movie would be filmed in my building! a Russell Crowe movie no less...an academy award-winning Russell Crowe!
it took me nearly a year and a half to find this building when i decided i wanted to live in DC near the Potomac. no one, even if they'd lived in the 'metro area', which, by the way, includes northern virginia and it seems, all of maryland, knew where the hell southwest washington was! but when i found it, it didn't take me long to realize; 'YES, this is IT!!' i had read a story in the washington post one saturday describing the area. being from san diego, it seemed perfect.
so, some movie company is filming right here in my ever-loving building! how exciting is THAT??
anyway, i just had to share my excitement. i'll share the name of the movie when it's released. and you know how long THAT can take.

what, is the movie name TOP SECRET? how very "DC" of you to not divulge. btw, i told a coworker of mine that they were filming 'that russell crowe' film at your building and she knew exactly what i was talking about. said something about how they had recently filmed on pennsylvania ave or something.

i love DC too! except for the shitty fucking weather.

Uh,...The name of the movie is:

STATE OF PLAY

The name of the film, State of Play, is in magazines, newspapers, on TV and all over the internet. It's also on signs and film gear. Hardly a secret that Kevin MacDonald is directing, Crowe, Ben Affleck, Helen Mirren, Rachel McAdams, Robin Wright et al are the headliners.

Still, it's cool they're filming in your building.

thanks anonymous, for your extreme enlightenment! i simply wanted to share that Russell Crowe is in a film in which a tiny portion is being filmed in my building.....obviously, you spend a lot more time reading stuff than i do... it'd be great if you could let me know when STATE OF PLAY will be released.

I am so jealous! I love DC, and a movie too???? Anyway, the closest place for us was Pittsburgh, 1 away, and one of the movies was the original "Night of the Living Dead."
